Fashion Movies to Check Out

We don't know about you but we love to watch movies for the fashion. Recently there has been a surge of films with excellent fashion as well as fashion documentaries. Here are a few recommendations if you are feeling like seeing a movie with remarkable fashion.

The Age Of Adaline, A young woman played by the stunning Blake Lively, born at the turn of the 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After many solitary years, she meets a man who complicates the eternal life she has settled into (Imdb.com). The film spans nearly eight decades with fantastic fashion. Please check out the trailer below:

Dior and I, A behind-the-scenes look at the fashion house Christian Dior as new artistic director Raf Simons launches his first couture collection for the brand. The film also profiles the many seamstresses who help make Simons' vision a reality. ~ Violet LeVoit, Rovi (Fandango.com). I'm super excited about this film...I'm seeing it on Sunday. Check out the trailer below:

Iris: IRIS pairs legendary 87-year-old documentarian Albert Maysles with Iris Apfel, the quick-witted, flamboyantly dressed 93-year-old style maven who has had an outsized presence on the New York fashion scene for decades (fandango.com). We love women who embrace personal style and own it! Check out Iris trailer to see this fascinating woman in action.
