Nancy Caten, a Bay Area native, creates hand-crafted jewelry for her NCbis line in her San Francisco studio. Influenced by the arts & crafts movement of the early twentieth century, her pieces exhibit unconventional mixes of shape, texture and proportion. Many of the pieces incorporate vintage materials. Understanding that the art of craft is in the details, Nancy has forged a jewelry company that is sensitive to the history of adornment yet focused on the modern.
